Of course i’ll help you sweetie! Don’t stress! Liquid eyeliner is probably one of the hardest makeup techniques there is to master.
First, let’s look at Ari’s eyeliner:
Ari’s liner is very bold and dramatic. Since you’re a beginner, I recommend going a little more simple with the look. This way, you can gradually work your way up to learning how to do the full “cat eye” effect. It will be much easier to learn this way. Also; Instead of going straight into liquid liner, have you tried using a gel liner? It’s insanely easier to work with in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact liner Ari uses anymore.
Here’s a step by step tutorial on applying gel eyeliner I found that I think you may find useful. Remember, practice makes perfect! (:

To achieve Ariana’s ombre, I would definitely recommend showing a picture of Ariana’s hair completely down to your hair dresser. He or she will definitely be able to assist you further with this.
As for the thickness, if you don’t want to wear extensions like Ariana does, I recommend using the “Mane N Tail” shampoo and conditioner. One of my closest friends who has particularly straight and thin hair uses a ton of products from Mane N Tail and claims it makes her hair longer and thicker. I myself have naturally very thick, curly, and long hair, so I can’t speak from personal experience.
If you put all the pieces together properly, you can see that these “Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Stickers” in Elegant Flourishes from Joann’s ($3.99) are the exact stickers Ariana used in her Break Free music video!

Thanks love bug! Ariana 100% lines her lips, but I wouldn’t say she’s “over lining” them. From a distance it looks like her natural lip shape, but if you look close up you can clearly tell where she has lined them. I used this picture of Ariana’s lips from the KCA’s in March as a reference. To the left of the picture, I traced where you can see Ari’s natural lip line. (:
Eyes: Ariana has recently been wearing a very thick winged black eyeliner on her eyes paired with a neutral but shimmery eye shadow. Ariana also used a clump free mascara on top of clearly fake lashes. She followed up with a dark brown eyeliner on her waterline.
Ariana’s face always looks perfectly even and clear. In this look, Ariana used a liquid foundation with a pressed powder on top to keep her face looking matte and shine free. She also applied a blush onto the apples of her cheeks.
(Disclaimer: Ariana clearly used a lot more makeup then mentioned, I just wanted to stick to the basics, or else this post would take 4 hours to write! All products are recommended by me, they are not exact.)
Hi everyone! Welcome to my second review in our brand new makeup review series! I was so excited when I came across this new BB cream from Maybelline in my drugstore. I did a little research and discovered this BB cream actually came out a while ago in other countries, but it just came out in America. So for those of you who aren’t in America, this may not be exactly “new” to you. This BB cream in particular is formulated for people with acne, which I found a little strange considering this beauty balm has a luminous finish. A luminous finish isn’t the best for acne as it actually brings attention to it (yikes!) And believe me, if you have acne you’re going to want to have more coverage than what this balm provides. I also hate the fact that this formula contains 2% salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a drying agent used to fight acne, but it really should only be formulated into spot treatments, not in a product that is applied all over your face in my opinion. When salicylic acid is applied to your face repeatedly it will no doubt dry your skin out. Even if you have oily or combo skin. If you’re still interested in the product, I recommend using it as a primer under a foundation so you are provided with more coverage. The price of this product is about $9.99, which is the average price for a drugstore foundation.

Welcome to the first makeup review in my makeup review series! Every week I will be reviewing different types of Ariana inspired makeup that you request. All opinions are based off of my own personal experience (: This is one foundation I really had high expectations for when I began to use it. Everyone was raving about it all over the beauty guru community. What’s not to like I thought? This foundation claims it’s a “primer, foundation, and concealer” all in one. However, my expectations slowly started to fade as my trials went on. For starters, I found this foundation extremely oxidizes on your face throughout the day (meaning the color of this foundation at the end of the day is not the same as the color it was when you first applied it.) This was really upsetting as I looked like I walked right out of the Put Your Hearts Up music video; it made me orange! Although this foundation claimed it lasts all day, I was lucky if it lasted until the end of the school day. Even with my favorite pressed powder it didn’t last for too long. Another claim this foundation made was that you wouldn’t need a concealer, but you DEFINITELY do. This foundation didn’t do the best at covering my dark under eye circles, but a concealer could fix that immediately. This is a medium coverage foundation which could most likely be build able. I really wanted this foundation to work, but it really didn’t meet my expectations. Definitely not ideal for those who have oily to combo skin, this foundation will melt right off!
Bottom Line: I do NOT recommend this product

Hi guys! So for the 2014 Kids Choice Awards Ariana she wore her hair completely different then her half up half down. Here is a few steps on how to do it.
1. Brush the hair
2. Straighten it
3. Tuck the front sections of the hair behind your ear
4. Last but not least, pin them down with some pins so it won’t loosen up through out the night.
