voguechanels asked: Do you know what foundation and concealer Ari uses? Which foundations would you personally recommend? My skin isnt oily or dry, just average.I have dark circles under my eyes and are quite deep set so need something with a good amount of coverage :)

Hi beautiful! Ariana actually wears a couple of different foundations. It all depends on the coverage and “finish” that she wants for that day in particular. Her makeup artist, Daniel, normally alternates between the Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($43.00) and the  Nars Sheer Glow Foundation ($45.00) Personally, I recommend the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation ($38.00) It’d medium to full coverage, and stays on all day long! For concealer, Ariana’s favorite right now is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer ($20.00) I know for a fact that this concealer is very full coverage, so I think it will be perfect for your dark circles! If you’re going for something a little less expensive however, you should definitely consider trying out the Glamoflauge Concealer ($6.00) from Hard Candy! It’s SUPER heavy duty. You could literally cover a tattoo with it if you wanted to! Love you, hope this helped!

Welcome to the first makeup review in my makeup review series! Every week I will be reviewing different types of Ariana inspired makeup that you request. All opinions are based off of my own personal experience (: This is one foundation I really had high expectations for when I began to use it. Everyone was raving about it all over the beauty guru community. What’s not to like I thought? This foundation claims it’s a “primer, foundation, and concealer” all in one. However, my expectations slowly started to fade as my trials went on. For starters, I found this foundation extremely oxidizes on your face throughout the day (meaning the color of this foundation at the end of the day is not the same as the color it was when you first applied it.) This was really upsetting as I looked like I walked right out of the Put Your Hearts Up music video; it made me orange! Although this foundation claimed it lasts all day, I was lucky if it lasted until the end of the school day. Even with my favorite pressed powder it didn’t last for too long. Another claim this foundation made was that you wouldn’t need a concealer, but you DEFINITELY do. This foundation didn’t do the best at covering my dark under eye circles, but a concealer could fix that immediately. This is a medium coverage foundation which could most likely be build able. I really wanted this foundation to work, but it really didn’t meet my expectations. Definitely not ideal for those who have oily to combo skin, this foundation will melt right off!

Bottom Line: I do NOT recommend this product
